The AKU Pilgrim DS Desert Boot. Speed lacing the system and Vibram Sole, the boot is a great addition to the High Liability Combat Boot choices. The Pilgrim is shorter than traditional military issued boots.
AKU was successfully selected following an 18 month trial with service personnel. It was competing against other boots also in the trial and scored high with with the personnel in intensely active combat situations. This DS or Desert variant of the boot is without a full Gore-Tex lining which offers more effective cooling of the feet.
