The ankle protection is delivered by the specially designed high leg upper. Manufactured in Europe by Italian bootmaker AKU, the Pilgrim HL GTX performs well in stability for demanding and dynamic conditions. This boot is a High Leg version of the lower version issued to dismounted personnel in the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy.
